Updates of All Colors!

Hello Everyone!

For Play Members: Please check the schedule below for the most recent updates. Times have been adjusted to accommodate everyone most efficiently. Please make sure you get your own costumes for Go Go Joseph - blue jeans (preferably bell bottoms or flares if you can get them) and a tie-dye shirt (the brighter the better). Props needed will be updated by Friday right here :)

For Choir Students Auditioning for BCMEA in January: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCsLSzY_bno (Sing Joyfully, sung by the Texas All State Choir - please ignore the random shouts by the conductor. It was a rehearsal, but a beautiful one!)

Thank you for your diligence during this hectic crunch time! I'm sure if you keep working as hard as you are, our performances will be great! :)

Accompanease, at last!!! :)

Hey Everyone,

Here are instructions for downloading & authenticating the rehearsal program we've rented:

Download the rehearsal program first:
Windows
Mac OSX

After you have installed the "trial" version on your computer, follow the instructions below to authenticate and unlock the magical practicing power!!!! :)

1. Click either the 'Authenticate' button at program launch or the
'Authorize Full Version' button from the Trial player window.

2. Enter the *exact* following authentication details into the User
Information screen:

Full name: Stephanie Overton-Hall
Organization name: Archbishop Wood High School
Title: Joseph...Dreamcoat (UK-Mega Mix)
Email: overton81@gmail.com

(Answer "Yes" to the question: "Do you already have an Unlock Code?")

3. Click 'Okay.'

4. Copy and paste the following code into the Unlock Code screen:

TIWG-2r4T-+4sA-XaMs-wrYY-0yoi-YMC/-ZpTV-4MxR-SUYU-R0AI

5. Click 'Okay.' Your AccompanEase should now be fully unlocked.

_______________________________________

We recommend copying and pasting the above code into the unlock code field.
(It should be a single, unbroken line of text, approximately 55 characters
long.)

Please pass along this email to anyone involved with your production who
wants to use AccompanEase. As long as they enter all the exact same
information above into the authentication screens, they will be able to
unlock their copy of the program. Note: your cast and production team will
need to enter the information *exactly* as you originally did (i.e. your
name and email - not theirs; all spelling, punctuation and capitalizations
consistent with the details above).

Happy Practicing!

Sunday Helpers

If you're not singing this Sunday, regular rehearsals begin next week. Tuesday 4:30-6pm for Women's Choir, Wednesday 4:30-6pm for Concert Choir.

If you are singing this Sunday, thank you SO much for volunteering your talents to North & Southampton Reformed Church! :)

Please arrive by 8:55am so we can get you a robe.

The address is:
1380 Bristol Road
Churchville (Southampton), PA 18966

It is just next to the Churchville Inn, at the intersection of Bristol Road and Bustleton Pike/Churchville Lane.

Here are the lyrics to the anthem:

Draw us in the Spirit’s tether; For when humbly, in thy name,
Two or three are met together, Thou are in the midst of them:
Alleluya!
Touch we now thy garment’s hem.

As the brethren used to gather in the name of Christ to sup,
Then with thanks to God the Father break the bread and bless the cup,
Alleluya!
So knit thou our friendship up.

All our meals and all our living make as sacraments of thee,
That by caring, helping, giving, we may true disciples be.
Alleluya!
We will serve thee faithfully.

Also, we will sing just before and just after the service.

Introit (Gathering) Lyrics:

As we gather at your Table, as we listen to your Word,
help us know, O God, your presence; let our hearts and minds be stirred.
Nourish us with sacred story till we claim it as our own;
teach us through this holy banquet how to make Love's victory known.

Benediction (Closing) Lyrics:
Go forth for God, go to the world in peace;
be of good courage, armed with heavenly grace,
in God's good Spirit daily to increase,
till in the kingdom we see face to face.
Go forth for God, go to the world in peace.

All rehearsal files can be found at http://abwchoir.bandcamp.com

Thanks again for helping! It means the world to me, and I know the people at my church will L-O-V-E you!!!!

See you Sunday!

Summer Choir!

Hello My Lovely Singers!!

I hope you have all had/are having a great end of the year. Congratulations to all of the seniors on your graduation! :)

I am looking at doing another Summer Choir Week this year July 12-16, with the concert on July 16, so please let me know all of the following times listed below that would work with your schedules/transportation if you are planning to attend, or if you are unable to attend so that I can pick music based on the balance we will have. I will also consider running a women's choir AND a mixed choir at different times if that seems like it will work better for balance and your schedules, but that is not definite yet.

Possible Times:
10am-1pm
noon-3pm
1-4pm
2-5pm
3-6pm
4-7pm
6-9pm

Thanks for responding everyone! :) Hope to see you in July!

Oh - and for those students who are interested in auditioning for All Catholic Chorus next year (late October), the audition solos are:
He Watching Over Israel – Felix Mendelssohn (this will probably be an audition solo for Bucks County within the next 2 years)
&
O Clap Your Hands – John Rutter

The Bucks County Honor Choir (against the public schools) auditions will be Jan 22, 2011, and there is only one audition solo:
Sing Joyfully - William Byrd
You can print the PDF from the link below.
http://www.bcmea.org/Auditions/byrd-sin.pdf

I will teach all three solos either before or after the choir rehearsals so we can get a jump start on them!

Please let me know if you would like me to copy the All Catholic pieces for you.
Thanks!

Alumni Mass

Everyone,

Today was NOT a good turn out for rehearsal, and Mr. Zimmaro was a very unhappy camper. EVERYONE needs to be at rehearsal tomorrow (Thursday, 4/22 2:30-4:30) and EVERYONE needs to be at the Alumni Mass on Sunday morning 4/25 @ 8am for rehearsal, 9am for mass. You will be done around 10am & you'll have the rest of the day to do whatever, ie sleep. Mr. Zimmaro is "paying a lot for chorus" so he expects the same turn out as Ring Mass. You MUST be there, or we are putting our entire choral program in jeopardy.

Here are the songs for mass in case you missed today (which is most of you!):

Gathering: Sing of the Lord's Goodness - the entire freaking congregation is singing in this video, CRAZY! this is what i mean when i say sound british when you sing, kiddos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5R9PmGf3aE

Gloria: Mass of Light (we did this for Ring Mass so you all know it - cheesy cantor & bad brass, but - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUzonXOIoZQ&feature=related)

Psalm: We are God's People - this is too slow & the cantor isn't too great, but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Zec1iChFOk

Celtic Alleluia (if you don't know this, your license to practice Catholicism will be revoked).

Gifts: Come Home - This recording is horribly out of tune, but you can at least get a rough idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6xsfhk5F2U

Communion: You Are Mine (we have done this this year - i don't know why cantors can't sing on youtube, but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHydyDh8Ivg&feature=related) & Bread of Life (this is at a wedding... again the soloist, not that great, but what are you gonna do? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_fr8Bm7fkI

Meditation: Look at the World (hahahahahahhahahahaha! lmbo (yes i sensored my own text speak) this is actually a pretty good recording, occasional intonation issues aside, but the napoleon dynamite-esque interpretive dance is HILarious! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIO_7tNQ6cY

Take it on Home Song: Joyful Joyful We Adore You (NOT the rad gospel version from sister act 2, sorry, and i can't find a recording that's not CRAP!)

I WILL SEE YOU TOMORROW!

unto the house of the lord (hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNkCrZXVCp0

version 2 (equally awful) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jinF565RF4M&feature=related

go light your world (this is the original i used to listen to in elementary school - yes i'm old - enjoy the cheesy lyrics-powerpoint) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVqR6kTu8lE&feature=related

how beautiful - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJfSp_rceFs

siyahamba - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_am5crjgCCE

schedule of rehearsals is below. thanks for bearing with me kiddos. :) i love you much!

Snow vs. Rehearsal

Hey Everyone,

I will only need Millie, Trevor, & Muzzy at rehearsal on Monday.

We will be retaining the current rehearsal schedule as of this message, and you better pray HARD for no snow this week!

I will be using the scheduled catch up days on Friday 2/26 & Sunday 2/28 to make up for the time we lost last week. This will only affect those people who were scheduled to rehearse on the snow days last week, and potentially a few other principle characters to be notified ASAP.

Thank you for continuing to look over your music (hint hint!) and I will see you all at our short rehearsal on Tuesday!

Thanks!
Steph
