My Dearest Juniors,

The time has come again for us so select Performing Arts Officers! In order to save trees, we are collecting officer applications electronically. Should you prefer to use paper, you may turn in your handwritten or typed application by Tuesday - turn it in to Steph's folder at the activities office. Otherwise, please email your answers to the questions below to me at shall(at)archwood(dot)org AND to Mariel at mrosatiabw(at)gmail(dot)com. All applications must be received by Tuesday 3/26 at 7pm. Absolutely NO late applications will be considered.

The available positions (with tentative duty descriptions) for application are:

President - keeps rehearsal attendance records, cast/crew communications, membership records keeping, grade school recruitment, and all other duties requested by directors.

Vice Presidents (2-3 will be chosen) - assist President and directors with duties as requested, assist with cast database maintenance.

Public Relations (2-3 will be chosen) - direct advertising efforts, including poster hanging, outdoor sign painting, communication with grade schools and local parishes, communication with local radio/television, school tv announcements, and any other duties requested by directors/President.

Stage Manager is INELIGIBLE to audition for either production and will not be on stage for either show, no exceptions.

Pick-a-little costumes

Pick a-little ladies—your costumes are as follows:
1st suit for Iowa Stubborn
Indian Outfit
Dress for Pick-a-little
Tennis/rehearsal outfit
Suit for Shipoopi
Grecian Outfit for the rest of the show

OR
1st suit for Iowa Stubborn
Indian Oufit
Second suit for Pick-a-little
Tennis/rehearsal outfit
Dress for Shipoopi
Grecian outfit for rest of show

Pick which scenario you like best and agree on it. I think dresses make more sense for the Shipoopi, but you aren't seen as well in that number, so you could wear the second suit. The key is that all 4/5 of you need to be in suits simultaneously or dresses simultaneously so that you have a sort of unity about you:) Let me know if you have any questions!
